Welcome to my very first Surprise Me Sunday mini color challenge. I love to give myself color challenges inspired from other items I've seen like magazine layouts. But my all time favorite type of challenge is when I just randomly reach in a box and pick out some colors, then challenge myself to put them together and make them work on a project. I love this type of challenge because sometimes it forces me to put together colors I would NEVER look at and put on the same project. Now sometimes it's the disaster I thought it would be :) but I'm surprised by how many times it actually turns out MUCH better than I thought it would. I've found many favorite color combos this way. So in the spirit of that color challenge I'm going to hold a mini challenge once a week. I'll simply click on the Surprise Me button on the ColorLab and take the very first color grouping that comes up. Then I challenge all of you to go out and try to put those colors together on a project. We're not going to do any awards for this one, it's not about being perfect - it's about trying out new colors together. I hope you all have fun with the Surprise Me Sunday Challenges
